Scale
- 4 Salmon Fillets (skin on or off)
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 5–6 cloves garlic, grated
- 1/2 lemon, fresh squeezed juice
- 1/3 cup scallions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Prep the salmon fillets by cleaning them and sprinkling with salt and pepper. Set aside
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat and add butter. Melt and stir for 3 minutes – butter should be fragrant and starting to brown.
- Add in honey and whisk until dissolved. Add to that the grated ginger and lemon juice. Continue whisking for 2 minutes.
- Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin side down. Spoon the butter mixture over the salmon and leave on heat for 4 minutes.
- Place the cast iron skillet into the oven for 7-10 minutes (depending on thickness of salmon fillets). Around the last minute, spoon the butter mixture over the salmon again.
