Veggie Croissant Squares
These are a family favorite and very toddler friendly!
Introduction
Christmas Eve in our house is traditionally a huge spread of nibbles and snacks. While planning out the menu, I try to incorporate something for everyone, while hitting all the major food groups. These are a family favorite and very toddler friendly!

Ingredients
- Pilsbury crescent croissant rolls (found in the cooler by the cheese)
- Boursin garlic & herb cheese (alternatively herb & spice cream cheese works!)
- Tomato
- Red onion
- Green onion
- Peppers
- Broccoli
- Shredded cheese
✖️Preheat oven to 375 degrees (following the directions on your croissant roll package)
✖️Grease your baking dish. Spread your croissant rolls into the dish
✖️Bake as per package instructions
While your crust is baking, chop your veggies nice and small – tomato, peppers, broccoli, onion
✖️Pull the croissant bake out of the oven and let it cool for 10 mins. Begin spreading cheese over your crust. Can go as thick or thin as you like – remember you can get creative here and use different flavours of cream cheese depending which route you’d like to go. Dill, herb and garlic, onion are all great choices!
✖️Sprinkle your veggies over the cheese spread. Press down slightly so the veg sticks to the cheese
✖️Top with shredded cheese. Toss into the fridge for an hour or so to set. Cut into squares and serve!

The beauty of these bars is that you can make them a day or two before so it’s less labour intensive day of.
