Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wings

Another air fryer favorite!!

Introduction

I’m back with another air fryer favorite!! This appliance seriously takes dishes to the next level. Not only does food take a fraction of the time to cook, but it gets so crispy you would think it’s been fried in oil! You can purchase the chicken already cut into drums and flats, or you can buy the full pieces and cut it yourself. Either way, so good!

Ingredients

Wings –

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drums & flats) – defrost if frozen
  • 2-3 tbsp Frank’s Red Hot
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • sea salt & pepper

Parmesan Ranch Dip –

  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt (or 1/2 cup mayo & 1/2 cup sour cream)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • sea salt & pepper

✖️Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees for 2 mins. While the fryer is warming, prep the chicken. If using full wings, separate the drums from the flats. Lay the pieces onto paper towel and pat completely dry (this helps get them crispy)

✖️Next, mix up the sauce. Whisk together olive oil, franks, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley and salt & pepper. Add the chicken pieces to the sauce and toss to completely coat the wings

✖️Spray the bottom of your air fryer with cooking spray. Add in a single layer of wings to the fryer. Try to keep them spaced out so there is no overlap

✖️Cook at 400 degrees for 18 mins. I usually take the basket out every 4 mins or so and give them a good toss

✖️While the chicken is cooking, make the dip! Combine plain greek yogurt (or sour cream and mayo), parmesan cheese, garlic, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper

dip and enjoy xo
