Strawberry “Ice Cream” Smoothie Bowls
So fun to make and so delicious to eat.
Introduction
In our house, these strawberry bowls are called “pink ice cream”. So fun to make and so delicious to eat. I usually set up a little toppings bar so the kids can make their own bowl – doesn’t every two year old love that autonomy? This recipe is very forgiving so use up whatever frozen fruit you have on hand – just make sure it’s frozen so you can get the thick consistency

Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 water
- 1 tbsp honey
- Toppings – fresh fruit, granola, seeds, chia, coconut chips, cacao nibs
Place the strawberries, yogurt, and honey into the blender. Slowly add in little bits of water until a soft serve consistency is reached
Scoop into bowls and top with all your favorites! Granola, fresh fruit, coconut, sprinkles! If you are looking to add more protein to your bowl, add in your favorite protein powder or nut butters. Extra boosters like chia, flax, hemp are all great additions as well
enjoy xo
